It guides and teach us to grow a garden organically without using any chemical but just using natural method. So we can save our planet and keep it go green. To find out more about it, please read the original article bellow carefully.

Coffee grounds can benefit many types of soil. They contain nitrogenous nutrients which are essential to plant growth. A strong nitrogen source in your garden area is a wonderful way to have healthy and strong plants.

Use untreated stone, brick or wood to build raised beds. Be sure that any wood you use isn’t chemically treated, and will be able to resist rot naturally. Excellent choices are cedar, locust and cypress. If you use your garden to grow vegetables, avoid using wood that has been treated with chemicals. These toxic chemicals may seep into the soil, damaging your crops. If you have built a bed with treated lumber already, use a barrier such as plastic to line the bed.

Annually rotate your garden layout or plan. When similar plants are planted in pretty much the same spot every single year, this can cause fungal and disease growth. Those things can wait silently in the soil and attack plants the next year. Different plants have different immunities and vulnerabilities. Changing what you plant where will naturally stave off fungus and disease.

Be aware of how and when to water your organic garden plants. Try making use of a soaker hose for this purposes. These can directly water the base of the plant, which will help reduce loss of moisture associated with evaporation. It is best to water them in the early morning.

Use companion plants to enhance your other garden plants. This method of gardening is where plants that are compatible with each other are planted together to encourage growth. Together, these plants can discourage pests and help with soil enrichment, which means that the need for fertilizers and chemical pesticides is lessened. One example of companion plants in action is the ability of foul-smelling herbs and vegetables to repel insects.

Add mulch for healthy soil. Mulch can protect the ground it sits upon. Mulch will ensure your soil is kept cool on hot days and protect your roots. It also keeps soil moist longer by preventing water evaporation. This will also help to keep weeds under control.

If your organic garden is infested with aphids, break out the soapy water to get rid of them for good. Lightly spray all portions of the plant with the soapy water solution and then follow it up with water that is pure.

Over-watering can essentially drown the roots of plants, making them unable to grow well. Before watering plants outdoors, check with some weather stations to find out if it will rain anytime during the day. After reviewing the weather forecast, you can decide whether or not to spend the time and resources watering the garden.
